A Family Affair | Erie Children Photographers
Hey, all! Wendy here. Today, I had the opportunity to shoot mini- sessions for two families. It was complete chaos but it also incredibly fun. My good friend Heather and her daughter Sarah came to North East all the way from Pittsburgh for a session! Talk about showin’ the love. Sarah was totally pumped up; that girl has energy to spare. She has the blondest blond hair I’ve ever seen on a child. She was a super cutie! At one point, Heather was holding Sarah and Sarah cried out, “I’m stuck! Wendy get me down!” Little stinker, haha!
Sarah claimed the little chair as her own. She dragged it around with her and proclaimed, “My chair!” hehe…
I love Sarah’s bright, colorful outfit. It’s a common misconception in family photography that everyone should be in solid colors and that everyone should match. My personal feelings are, to heck what that! Bold colors, patterns, coordinating color families, it’s all good!
Heather’s brother Don and his lovely wife Amy brought their two children in as well. Zac is five years old and a super helper. He had ideas for poses and he held his two-month old sister Katelynn like a pro.
This here, is one of his “Spiderman” poses. Zac was a heck of a web-slinger, let me tell you.
Baby Katelynn was so.stinking.adorable! At just two months old, she was wide-eyed, looking at the lights and into the camera. Those eyes! That sweet skin! That innocent little smile!
Heather: Thank you so much for coming in. Sarah is one of a kind; spirited, spunky and sweet. (You appreciate alliteration, right? hehe) It means so much to me that you came in on your short trip up. Thank you x a billion.
Don and Amy: What a joy your children are. Zac is such a good big brother; so proud and careful. Katelynn is going to be a stunner. Thank you for driving out to North East; I hope you had a good time!
