Saturday’s wedding at the Smith Chapel at Penn State Behrend was a sweet one. Brett and Anna are two unique individuals and their personalities really showed in the choices they made for their wedding day. Anna and Brett are two of the happiest and sweetest people we’ve ever had the good fortune of photographing and their wedding was the perfect reflection of that — lots of smiles, giggles and love 
They are also very talented creatively, both musically [ the wedding started out with the groom playing guitar as the bridesmaids made their way down the aisle ] and with their handmade decor for the reception.
Instead of the traditional sand or candle ceremony they opted for the very cool Love Letter & Wine Box ceremony. I’d never heard of this ceremony before and let me tell you — its awesome! Murl and I want to start doing this for our anniversaries! A little info on the Letter and Box Ceremony for anyone interested: during the wedding ceremony they put a bottle of wine along with letters to each other into the box. Their parents also wrote letters and put them in the box. Then on their anniversary next year they will open the box, read the letters, drink the wine and do it all over again, so each anniversary they have letters to read and a good glass of wine to go with them!! Its so romantic and fun and something to look forward to on each anniversary. Love it! Here is a website with more details.
We had a lot of time to do portraits between the wedding and reception which was really great. And then we headed to the Erie Yacht Club to photograph dinner, dancing and the sunset! It was an absolutely perfect day for a wedding and we got so many great shots. I hope you enjoy these images with more to come on facebook shortly!

The pictures are amazing! It’s going to be very difficult to decide which to enlarge and frame around the house. You guys are just so talented, I can’t say enough. Your editing is perfect and you are so fast to capture moments as they happen. I don’t think we had to wait for you guys to set up for even one second throughout the day.
Thanks for the kind words about the ceremony. We actually have the bottle of wine that we bought during the engagement session locked in our box. We would love to get together some time and share a home brew or go out for a drink! Thanks for everything!

These pictures are amazing! But, how could they not be, with the beautiful people that you were shooting. They brought tears to my eyes, all over again. I heard from Chelsey how fun you were and what great pictures that you took. I cannot wait to see all of them. I hope Anna and Brett keep in touch with you, so in a couple of years you can possible take some BABY pics!!!!!!!
