Just Married: Cindy + Kevin | North East PA wedding photographer
Murl and I had the pleasure of photographing Cindy and Kevin’s wedding ceremony and reception right here in North East over Labor Day weekend. They are such a fun couple as you can see in their engagement portraits. I don’t have a lot of time to type so I’m going to just jump straight into the pictures — I do want to mention that the beautiful flowers were by Four Season’s Flower Shop in Westfield, NY.

I had a super busy Labor Day weekend – two engagement sessions and two weddings. I don’t usually take on more than one wedding per weekend but this was a special case.
I’m going to kick off the blog posts with Jen and Scott. I am photographing their wedding next month! They were so adorable during their shoot. The connection between them is so sweet, I love couples who don’t have to be told to cuddle or kiss – it makes my job easier

Alright so I’ve been doing some serious slacking on the blog. I’ve got a pretty good excuse, I am so incredibly busy and I’d like to thank all of my wonderful clients for keeping me so busy!
Alright, enough about me — on to Emily with the gorgeous blue eyes! Emily met up with me last night and we went down to Lake Erie where I photographed her senior portraits. Her mom did an excellent job holding the reflector

Fifth Anniversary Portraits – Kim + Dusty | Erie PA Family Portrait Photographer

The other night we met up with Kim and Dusty at their beautiful home here in town and had a fun family portrait session. I’ve known Dusty for decades [ wow, we are getting old! ] and I met his wife Kim when we were all fairly young so it was nice to shoot and hang out with the two of them and their two poodles Bella and Hunter. Bella is a natural poser while Hunter took some work to get him to pay attention but he is cute even if he is looking off into the distance Here are a couple of my favorites from their session, you can find a few more on the HNP facebook page.

Cindy + Kevin's Engagement Session in Westfield NY

Yesterday Murl and I drove over to Westfield to meet with Cindy and Kevin for their engagement portraits. We had so much fun there – we parked the car and never had to drive anywhere else, there were so many cool places in walking distance of the car! It was also fun because of Kevin and Cindy’s personalities. They did an awesome job and we got way too many great shots! Here are a handful from last night.
I love them all but that last one takes the cake for me! Speaking of cake…we went to Sapore after the shoot for dinner, and for dessert we had a Chocolate Ganache Cheesecake with raspberries, black raspberries and blueberries. Holy smokes, it was unbelievable – and I don’t even like cheesecake!

Amanda + Ryan: First day of the rest of their life | Corry PA Wedding, Peek'n Peak Reception

Wow, I don’t know where to start; I was prepping images and there were soooo many fantastic ones from Amanda and Ryan’s wedding last Saturday. It seems each wedding we shoot is getting more and more fabulous and I didn’t know it was even possible! Amanda, Ryan and their families really assembled an all-star wedding team and everything went according to plan.

Temporary Studio Parking Update + A Fun Photograph

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that there is some major street renovating going on Route 89. There is no parking out front of the studio, I am not entirely sure how long this will last, so your best bet is to avoid Rte 89 / Lake Street if possible. Just take Route 20 and park on Main Street when you come see me. Thanks!

Debunking Family Portrait Myth #34 | Family Portrait Photographer – Erie PA

Family Portrait Myth #34: Everyone should wear the same outfit. While this is cute and in some instances works awesomely, its not who you *really* are as a family, is it? Does your family frequently go out in public wearing all white t-shirts and jeans? If you do then matching is perfect! But most families don’t normally dress that way and at HNP we believe your family portraits should reflect who you really are!
